Access Point setup

MikroTik HotSpot is fully supported, with UniFi and TP-Link Omada. Set up from the owner portal.

MikroTik, UniFi, and TP-Link Omada all use the owner portal. MikroTik is one script in Winbox. Omada is one sticker photo. Guests then pay with vouchers or mobile money.

MikroTik Full support

Use a RouterOS 7 router. Plug the ISP into ether1 and your admin computer into ether2. Other Ethernet ports are for guests.

  1. Log in at Owner login → My Access Point.
  2. Add a MikroTik HotSpot router.
  3. Press Copy SCRIPT 1. In Winbox open New Terminal, confirm ping 1.1.1.1 replies, paste the script once, and press Enter. Wait for SCRIPT 1 done.
  4. Only if Winbox reports a device-mode error: Copy SCRIPT 2, paste it, power the router off for 10 seconds, power it on, then run SCRIPT 1 again.
  5. Press Verify connection once and wait until the page reloads.
  6. On a router with Wi‑Fi, set the guest Wi‑Fi name. Guests connect and pay with vouchers or mobile money. No Wi‑Fi password.
Same business tools as UniFi and Omada: branded portal, packages, speed limits, and the owner dashboard.

TP-Link Omada DLTECHNOLOGY AI sticker scan

Recommended. DLTECHNOLOGY runs the Omada Controller — you do not install the Omada app or set a controller IP on the AP.

  1. Power on the EAP and connect it to the internet (PoE injector + cable to your ISP router).
  2. Log in at Owner login → open My Access Point (/owner/hotspots.php).
  3. Tap Add AP → choose TP-Link Omada.
  4. Take one photo of the EAP sticker — DLTECHNOLOGY AI reads Serial and Device Key.
  5. Confirm → DLTECHNOLOGY auto-adopts and configures the AP on our controller (wait until status is Online).
  6. Enter your guest WiFi name (open network — no WiFi password; guests pay on the captive portal).
  7. When status shows WiFi Ready, guests can connect and buy vouchers or mobile money packages.
All you need: AP online on the internet + owner portal sticker scan. DLTECHNOLOGY AI handles adoption, portal, and guest WiFi setup.

Do not:

  • Download or install the Omada Controller app
  • Open AP settings and paste a controller IP manually
  • Set a WiFi password for guests (DLTECHNOLOGY guest SSID is open; payment is on the portal)

Ubiquiti UniFi Owner portal adopt

Adopt UniFi APs from My Access Point. DLTECHNOLOGY runs the UniFi Controller. Follow these steps in order:

  1. Power on the AP (PoE) on the same network as your router.
  2. Find the AP IP with WiFi Man, SSH in (ubnt / ubnt) — use the IP builder on the owner portal screen.
  3. In SSH, run info and copy the MAC Address line into the owner form.
  4. In SSH, run set-inform (command below), wait 1–2 minutes.
  5. Submit MAC, device password, and guest WiFi name — wait for WiFi Ready.
